Free local question alerts

Monitor Facebook groups for keywords and customer questions.

Choose the services, phrases, and locations that matter. The free GTM Intel Chrome extension checks selected Facebook groups while Chrome is open, alerts you to matching questions, and takes you back to the original post.

Local and review-first. Free matching does not use AI credits. The extension never posts comments or messages for you.

Stop reopening the same groups and hoping you notice the right post.

People ask for recommendations in local and specialist groups every day. The useful post can disappear under new conversations before you get back to it. GTM Intel keeps the free workflow deliberately small: watch your chosen groups, surface likely questions, and let you decide what deserves a helpful reply.

Configure

Human-operated by design

Monitoring should help you notice—not speak for you.

Your access only

The extension can inspect groups your signed-in Facebook account is already allowed to view. It does not bypass private-group controls.

Local free matching

Keyword and question matching happens in Chrome. A post is sent to GTM Intel only when you explicitly save or analyze it.

No automatic posting

Alerts open the source conversation. You read the context, follow the group’s rules, and decide whether a reply is appropriate.

Questions

Facebook group monitoring FAQ

Can I monitor Facebook groups for keywords?

Yes. Add groups you already have access to, choose your services and question phrases, then enable automatic local scans. Chrome must remain open.

Do I need to be a Facebook group administrator?

No. You do need to be able to view the group through your signed-in Facebook account. GTM Intel does not bypass group access controls.

Can it monitor private Facebook groups?

It can inspect a private group only when your own Facebook account is already an approved member and can load the group normally.

Does monitoring work when Chrome is closed?

No. The free scanner is local to the browser. Chrome must be running and your Facebook session must remain signed in.

Will it comment or message people automatically?

No. GTM Intel never posts a public reply or sends a message from the free scanner. It brings you back to the original post so you can decide.

Does free monitoring consume AI credits?

No. The free question matcher uses configured terms locally. AI scoring and drafted replies begin only when you explicitly choose a paid analysis action.
